COMPETITIVE PROGRAM
2023-2024 Competitive Team
Competitive dance is a great opportunity for those who love to dance and are interested in spending more time training and performing. Competitive dancers will train 2-4 days a week in various areas of technique as well as learning routines in multiple styles to attend numerous competitions each season. We are happy to offer 3 different levels within our competitive program Novice, Pre- Competitive & competitive all based on experience, skill & training that allow dancers to compete in categories with other dancers of similar criteria. We are thrilled to be able to offer 3 different levels, as it allows dancers of all levels & ages who are interested in joining a structured team dynamic to have the opportunity to participate and grow.
Our competitive dancers have the opportunity to train in technique, flexibility, strengthening, acrobatics & ballet and learn & compete routines in tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, acro, musical theatre, hip hop, & modern.
At TDC, we pride ourselves in ensuring dancers are provided ample opportunity for growth by offering reasonable sized classes. It is important to us that classes are not overloaded with students to ensure each dancer receives the individualized attention they deserve to help develop their skills over the season. Not only do our class sizes pay off in training, but also allow dancers to build amazing bonds & friendships with their teammates that stay with them outside the classroom as well.
